This Privacy Policy describes personal information handled through iBidElectric websites, accounts, training, estimating applications and support features. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the iBidElectric service you use. Contact us at ken@ibidelectricpro.com with privacy questions.
1. Information you provide
We receive information you submit through account registration, membership, purchases, contact forms and support requests. This can include your name, email address, company, contact details, membership information and the text of your request. If you provide information about another person, you must have authority to share it.
Payment information is handled through the payment service used at checkout. Membership records may include purchase status and transaction references. Do not send passwords, complete payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive personal information through support or AI prompts.
2. Technical information and browser storage
Website hosting, security tools and enabled services may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, visited pages, timestamps and error records. Cookies support functions such as sign-in and membership access. Enabled analytics or embedded media may also process usage information under their own settings and policies.
The estimating application saves project information and work in browser storage on your device. Locally saved work is separate from a downloaded project backup. Clearing website data, changing devices or using a private browsing session can affect access to that work. Review our Cookie Policy before clearing browser storage.
3. Project information and AI tools
Project information may include names, locations, quantities, costs, drawings, specifications and notes. Local saving does not mean that every feature processes data only on your device. Data you choose to submit to a server or external service is handled for the selected feature.
AI Help sends your question, relevant conversation context and the active application tab name to OpenAI for a response. It does not automatically attach drawings or estimate values. Separate AI extraction features can send selected drawing content and instructions to the AI service. Review the feature notice before submitting confidential project information.
Only submit material you are authorized to share. Provider processing, retention and international transfers depend on the service and configuration. This policy does not promise that all external processing is confined to your device or country, or that submitted information is immediately deleted.
4. How information is used
Information is used to provide account and membership access, process purchases, deliver requested services, respond to questions, resolve support issues, maintain security and diagnose application problems. Enabled measurement features may help understand service usage. Information may also be needed to meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.
5. Service providers and disclosures
Information needed for a feature may be processed by hosting, payment, email, analytics, media or AI service providers. Their processing is subject to their terms and applicable arrangements. We may disclose relevant information when legally required, to investigate abuse, or to protect legal rights. External links lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Contact us for details about the providers and tracking settings currently used on the service you access. Cookie and advertising practices must be assessed under the law that applies; this page does not itself implement opt-out or consent blocking.
6. Support tickets
Support tickets store your subject, description, account name, email address, active application tab and application version in WordPress. A new-ticket notification containing those details is emailed to support. Drawings, estimate values and AI chat history are not automatically attached to the ticket. Avoid adding confidential project details that are unnecessary to describe the issue.
7. Retention and security
Retention depends on the record, service settings and applicable obligations. Account, transaction and support records may remain after an individual session ends. Backup copies and external service records can follow different retention schedules. Contact us to request information about a particular record or to request deletion.
No internet service, email system or storage method can guarantee complete security. Protect your login credentials and exported files, use devices you trust and keep independent project backups. Report suspected unauthorized access to support.
8. Your choices and rights
You can manage available account settings, use website cookie controls where offered and change browser storage settings. Where applicable law provides rights, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent. Rights and exceptions depend on the law and the type of information.
Email ken@ibidelectricpro.com with the subject “Privacy request,” your account email and a description of the request. We may need to verify your identity. Do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate channel. Some records may need to be retained for legal or recordkeeping obligations. You may contact the relevant supervisory authority where that right applies. See GDPR & Privacy Rights for further information.
9. Changes and contact
Updates will be identified by the date on this page. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law. For questions about this policy or a data request, contact ken@ibidelectricpro.com.
